Extractors use chemicals (such as methylene chloride) to extract the paraffin contained in films. Since the chemicals used are hazardous, safety is required as well as quality.
In the subsequent drying process, the chemicals adhering to the film are volatilized and dried. If the chemicals remain on the film, they may damage equipment in downstream processes, so it is necessary to ensure that the film is dried properly.
Methylene chloride contained in the VOC gas generated during drying is recovered and reused. Methylene chloride mixed with paraffin can also be recycled through a special distillation process.We will propose extraction and drying processes that meet your requirements, taking into account the most advanced technologies.

・Zone System (Extraction)
The extraction tank employs a zone system, in which chemicals are fed into each zone. This ensures that paraffin is removed because a highly pure agent remains in each zone. The number of zones and length of passes can be designed according to the required retention time of the film.
・Roll Drive System
We also offer roll drive systems to meet customers' requirements. For example, the independent drive system, in which each roller has its own drive and is driven by independent control, prevents wrinkling of the film and enable to produce thinner products. If you want to reduce the number of motors, we can also propose a system in which multiple rolls are driven by a single motor.
A suction roller with a vacuum inside removes methylene chloride remaining on the film. The drying oven can be shortened, thus reducing power consumption. A filter is wound around the surface of the roller, which can be used for a long period of time by regrinding and rewinding. This is a new technology that is currently attracting a great deal of attention and has been used by many major Chinese companies.
・Methylene Chloride Recovery Unit
Gas containing methylene chloride gas volatilized during drying is collected, and only the methylene chloride contained in the gas is extracted through a filter. The recovered methylene chloride can be reused.
・Methylene chloride recycling equipment
Methylene chloride containing paraffin is separated through a special distillation process. High purity methylene chloride is extracted and recycled. Paraffin is also separated so that it can be reused. Recycling solvent not only reduces running costs, but also reduces solvent consumption, making this technology environmentally friendly.
